Electrical and thermal conduction

Custom electrolytic copper components

Custom electrolytic copper components for industrial applications involving conduction, contact, cooling and high thermal loads.

Itametais manufactures electrolytic copper components by casting to the customer’s drawing, sample or specification. Parts can be supplied raw, pre-machined or machined, with a maximum weight of 1,500 kg per part.

Casting to the drawing or sample

Components are developed in electrolytic copper from the customer’s drawing, sample or technical specification. Engineering defines the manufacturing route according to the geometry and application.

Manufacturing covers parts weighing up to 1,500 kg each, always subject to technical assessment of the project and its stated requirements.

Raw, pre-machined or machined supply

The component can be delivered raw, pre-machined or machined. Integrating engineering, casting and machining organizes the stages needed to prepare the part to the drawing and application interfaces.

Electrical, thermal and furnace applications

Electrolytic copper components can be used in electrical contacts, plates, busbars, water-cooled components, electrodes and furnace components. The supply condition is defined by the part’s function in the equipment.
