Copper cooling blocks and related components manufactured to drawing for industrial equipment exposed to high thermal loads.
Itametais manufactures copper cooling blocks, cooling plates, boxes and other cooled elements to the customer’s drawing and specification. Components can include internal water channels and an integrated casting, machining and special-welding route, including parts weighing up to 1,500 kg.
01 / 25The family includes cooling blocks, cooling plates, boxes and other elements developed for industrial equipment. Geometry, interfaces and mounting points are defined from the drawing and application.
Copper is processed according to the project’s technical specification, with a configuration suited to the component’s function and installation.
Components can include internal channels for water circulation, with inlets, outlets and passages arranged according to the drawing. The cooling circuit is defined together with the interfaces and installation conditions provided by the customer.
Manufacturing combines copper casting, machining and special welding according to the component scope. This integration prepares surfaces, connections and functional areas from the drawing.
Leak-tightness and pressure tests are performed according to the contracted requirements, without anticipating values or criteria that depend on the project.
Copper cooling blocks and elements can be used in blast furnaces, electric furnaces, ferroalloy facilities, steelmaking and metallurgy. The component is supplied according to its intended function in the equipment.
Manufacturing covers parts weighing up to 1,500 kg each, subject to technical review of the geometry, interfaces and requested process.
